On 1st May 2021 the Malta Insurance Institute signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Insurance Department within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy of the University of Malta.
Through this agreement, UoM and MII will jointly promote teaching, research and academic programs and activities in the field of insurance and risk management. In particular, MII would actively support UoM's Insurance Department in its B.Com Insurance, MSc Insurance & Risk Management and MA Insurance & Risk Management.
UoM and MII also agreed to establish a working group to further develop the status and profile of the insurance profession.
